Charlie Cianfrani is an internationally recognized authority on quality management. He is a U.S. Expert Representative to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) committee responsible for quality management (ISO TC 176) and directly participated in writing ISO 9001 2008 (the internationally recognized Standard for Quality management Systems). as well as ISO 9004 2009 (a standard that addresses achievement of World class levels of Quality management). Mr. Cianfrani has successfully implemented ISO 9001 compliant quality management systems for clients on six continents.
Charlie is a fellow of the American Society for Quality, a Certified Quality Engineer, a Certified Reliability Engineer, a Certified Quality Auditor, an Exemplar Global-certified QMS Auditor. He has published 7 books on Quality management (with total sales of > 50,000 books) including the recently published ISO 9001:2015 Explained fourth Edition (published by Quality Press in December 2015), Cracking the Case of ISO 9001:2015 for Manufacturing Third Edition and Cracking the Case of ISO 9001:2015 for Service Third Edition. Cracking the Case of ISO 9001:2015 for Manufacturing and Cracking the Case of ISO 9001:2015 for Service will be published in Chinese in 4Q 2017.
Charlie holds a BS and an MBA from Drexel and an MS in Applied Statistics from Villanova.
