David Auda

Senior Reliability/ Systems Engineer, Volvo, Greensboro, NC, USA

 
David is a senior safety engineer who has over 40 years of interdisciplinary experience in a variety of industries, including but not limited to, aerospace, sensitized goods manufacture, instrument development, energy, medical devices, automotive and heavy equipment. David is an ASQ certified Reliability engineer and Quality Manager, an honors graduate of RIT with an undergraduate BSEE degree with masters level study in Applied Statistics and Reliability. David is an ASQ validated trainer and volunteer leader, a past chair of the ASQ Reliability Division. David’s interest in Decision Theory stems from his development of training in areas of Risk Prevention, Causal Attribution and Evidence Based Analysis. David has been a past workshop leader with Aerojet Rocketdyne’s In2: In Thinking Series on the topic of “Thinking, Metacognition and Emotional Sabotage” and a frequent presenter at international conferences and symposia on various Reliability related topics.
