Victoria Delaney has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduate studies in Material Science and experience as a speaker, author, trainer, consultant, manufacturing engineer, business owner and quality system program manager. She spent the first 13 years after graduation working as a manufacturing/quality engineer in various industries.
In 1994 she started working for ABS-QE as an ISO9001 Lead Auditor. Her experience for the past 24 years includes certification auditing and consulting for over 300 companies in domestic and international countries in all industries. Her Lead Auditor experience included working for DNV-GL, Moody International and MCNA as a contract auditor.
In 2005 she took the position as Quality System Program Manager with a semiconductor design company and merged two ISO9001 systems. Implemented, trained and maintained ISO certification of an integrated quality, environmental, health and safety management system for NJ and CA sites, 4 sites in India and 4 sites in China.
The establishment of an Integrated Management System in 2006 was rare. She has always felt this was the most efficient and effective way to handle multiple management systems. The time savings, powerful advantage to be looking at all aspects of the business and ability to get to the actual root cause made having an integrated system the logical choice. The integrated management system made it easy to implement an international management system over 10 sites. Focus was on common performance objectives which made continual improvement much easier.
Victoria has international business experience in Canada, China, India, Mexico, Singapore and Vietnam.
She loves to travel and has been to Indonesia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy.
When she is not auditing, you can find her mentoring entrepreneurs worldwide via Skype.
