Bill Kovacich has been employed by Caterpillar Inc. for 32 years as a metallurgist and quality engineer. His manufacturing background includes metal casting, welding, ferrous heat treatment, high-precision machining, powder metallurgy processing, and quality management system development. Bill holds a patent for powder metallurgy sinter brazing. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, an IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors)-certified QMS Principal Auditor, voting member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (US TAG) for International Organization for Standardization technical committee TC 176, and convener of TC 176 Sub-Committee 3 Working Group 19 that is revising ISO/TR 10013 Guidelines for Quality Management System Documentation. An avid adventurer, Bill is a former sport parachutist and rugby player, has climbed two of the world’s Seven Summits, and has reached the Magnetic South Pole.

Who May Submit: This online form may be used by a principal speaker, co-speaker, contact person, or a committee member submitting on behalf of a speaker.
Multiple Proposals: You may submit multiple proposals.

Length of Presentations: Technical sessions are typically 35 minutes. There will be a limited number of "double" sessions, 70 minutes, at the end of each day.
You will need the following to submit a proposal
Proposal Title: Maximum 80 characters including spaces.
Keywords:Please include three keywords with a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces.
Industry Sector: Please select the most relevant Industry sector for the proposal from a list.
Abstract: The Abstract should be 1,500 to 5,000 characters (note that it is Characters, NOT words), including spaces.
Biography: The Biography must be 1,500 to 5,000 characters, including spaces.
