Douglas Wheeler has over 25 years of experience in business process automation, quality management and software development. He has held senior management positions for global companies in the technical, energy and manufacturing verticals and is the founder or co-founder of three successful start-ups.
Doug has been responsible for the implementation of many business performance improvement programs and quality management systems based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, API Q1 and AS 9100 for companies in the US, Mexico, Asia, South America and Europe.
As a technology leader, he has helped design and develop nearly 1,000 custom business applications and websites for small businesses as well as large, multi-site and global companies. The applications he has developed include custom and licensed solutions for calibration management, training, quality management, business automation, inventory and warehouse controls, sales, engineering, customer support, risk management, HSE (health, safety & environmental), mobile, data analysis, lean six sigma, and more.
Doug is the President and Chief Project Architect of Espresso Moon LLC (www.EspressoMoon.com), a technology consulting and custom software development company based in Houston, Texas. Espresso Moon is the developer and publisher of GageList® a leading online calibration management software (www.GageList.com).
His expertise includes software design, business intelligence, lean six sigma, process optimization and automation, continuous improvement, quality system management, metrology, industrial engineering, process optimization and agile development.
Doug holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and is an American Society of Quality Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Engineer. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Lone Star College in Houston.

Who May Submit: This online form may be used by a principal speaker, co-speaker, contact person, or a committee member submitting on behalf of a speaker.
Multiple Proposals: You may submit multiple proposals.

Length of Presentations: Technical sessions are typically 35 minutes. There will be a limited number of "double" sessions, 70 minutes, at the end of each day.
You will need the following to submit a proposal
Proposal Title: Maximum 80 characters including spaces.
Keywords:Please include three keywords with a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces.
Industry Sector: Please select the most relevant Industry sector for the proposal from a list.
Abstract: The Abstract should be 1,500 to 5,000 characters (note that it is Characters, NOT words), including spaces.
Biography: The Biography must be 1,500 to 5,000 characters, including spaces.
