Beyond Compliance: Achieving Sustained Success with QMSIndustry: All Industries Keywords: QMS, Lean, Project Success, Continuous Improvement Level: Intermediate to Advanced LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tawana-gardner-lssmbb-a40a7b14/ A Quality Management System (QMS) is a strategic tool that contributes to an organization's success and competitiveness in today's ever evolving business environment. However, true success is not just in having a QMS, but in the ability to sustain and maintain quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance. The presentation will cover employee involvement, metrics, effective communication, and accountability, and how organizations can leverage data and feedback to systematically drive improvements. The discussion will also cover common challenges and pitfalls to QMS management, while offering practical information on overcoming these obstacles. The QMS, when implemented successfully, can lead to improved productivity, reduced process waste, cost savings, and optimized resource utilization. It helps organizations become more efficient, competitive, adaptive, and customer-focused while also fostering a culture of innovation and learning. The QMS is also critical for an organization’s growth and customer satisfaction. It should also include some level of continuous improvement which helps to support consistency, precision, and reduced risk. Participants will learn actionable strategies for maintaining the QMS while showcasing how organizations can evolve from temporary achievements to enduring success. However, the success of process automation hinges on the quality of the processes being automated. As organizations rush to embrace automation, they often encounter significant challenges. Knowing how to identify the right processes for automation and ensure they are refined and optimized before implementing automation technologies is imperative. This is where Lean and Six Sigma methodologies can be invaluable by providing insight on a more successful implementation of automation. The output of a process is a direct result of its inputs. This presentation will teach you to use lean tools and techniques to refine processes by incorporating process mapping, identifying process waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in order to provide automated processes that are leaner and more streamlined. The session will cover process selection, evaluation criteria, and process optimization. Take your transformation journey to the next level by optimizing and automating the right processes the right way. Participants will learn proven Lean techniques that enable organizations to minimize waste and streamline processes before automation is introduced. Participants will discover how Lean methodologies can help identify problems, eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize workflows. We will talk about how to identify processes for automation by selection criteria what to look for once a process has been identified, then how to apply lean tools and techniques to clean up the process in order to automate a good, streamlined, more efficient process. Tawana, is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a wealth of knowledge and experience, Participants will leave the session more empowered to refine their processes effectively, minimize waste, and ensure that process “garbage” becomes a thing of the past.
